Mr. Allen, a native of Delphos, came to Lima in his youth. He formerly was employed at the Metropolitan bank, retiring when he first became ill. He was a member of the First Evangelical and Reformed church, the Modern Woodmen of America and the United Commercial Travelers.
Surviving are his widow, Clara; a son, Harold, Mansfield, and a granddaughter.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Davis-Miller and Son Cathedral chapel. The Rev. Paul Graeser will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
