Dominic Abrunzo was born in Italy 1868. He married a widow with two children, Maria Taddeo, c. 1897 and left shortly thereafter for the United States. He obtained a job as a fisherman in Plymouth, MA and his family joined him there in 1905 or 1906. A cousin encouraged him to move to Syracuse, NY where he went to work for the New York Central Railroad.

Services will be held ay the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Urciuoli of 521 Burnet Avenue at 1:45 P. M. and in Italian Methodist Church at 3 P. M. The rev. Nicola DiStefano, pastor of the church will officiate. Mr. Abrunzo died Monday at the Urciuoli home. Surviving, besides Mrs. Urciuoli, are his wife, Mrs. Maria Abrunzo; a son, Frank Abrunzo; two daughters, Mrs. John Nardozzi and Mrs. Domenic Rizzo; and 11 grandchildren.
