Friends may call at the Thomas J. Foulk Funeral Home, West Grove, PA, on Monday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the New London Missionary Baptist Church.

David Carl Edwards

David Carl Edwards, 73, of Avondale-New London Road, West Grove, PA, died yesterday afternoon in Southern Chester County Medical Center, West Grove, after a short illness. He was the husband of Clarice Elliott Edwards.

Born in Jonesboro, Tenn., he was a son of the late Robert Gouge Edwards and Mary Jane Bailey Edwards.

A retired farmer, he lived in London Grove Township since 1945 and was a member of New London Missionary Baptist Church, Kelton, PA.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Edwards is survived by two sons, Sherill P. of West Grove, PA, and Edwin L. of Cochranville, PA; three daughters, Carlene Louise Ralph of Spring Creek, PA, Beverly Eileen Reid of Bernville, PA, and Patricia Jean Edwards of Ghent, Belgium; 12 grandchildren; three sisters, Lorena Henry and Maude Bowman, both of Jonesboro, Tenn., and Viola Rowe of Kingsport, Tenn.; and three brothers, Robert and Jesse, both of Jonesboro, Tenn., and Herman of St. Petersburg, Fla.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in New London Missionary Baptist Church, Kelton, PA. The viewing will be Monday at 7 p.m. in the Thomas J. Foulk Funeral Home, West Grove, PA. Interment will be in Beulah Baptist Cemetery, Russellville, PA.
