Clarice E. Edwards, 81, of West Grove, PA, died Friday, Feb. 17, 1995, at the Pocopson Home in Pocopson, PA. She was the widow of D. Carl Edwards.
Born in Washington County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Ella Leach Elliott.
She was a resident of southern Chester County, PA, for more than 40 years.
A member of the New London Baptist Church of Kelton, PA, she also belonged to the auxiliary of the Southern Chester County Medical Center in Penn Township, Chester County, PA.
She is survived by two sons, Sherrill P. Edwards of West Grove, PA, and Edwin L. Edwards of Cochranville, PA; three daughters, Carlene L. Kester of Spring Creek, PA, Patricia J. Van Hoorenbeke of Gent, Belgium, and Beverly E. Heeren of Nazareth, PA; one brother, Thomas J, Elliott Jr., of Johnson City, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1995, at Jennersville Church of the Brethren in Jennersville, PA.
Friends may call at the Foulk & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 200 Rosehill Road, West Grove, PA, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Interment will be in the Beulah Baptist Cemetery in Russellville, PA.
