Frances Blaine Haynes 92, of Kansas City, MO and formerly of Richmond, MO died on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, MO. Frances was born on April 22, 1919 in Richmond, MO to Irvin L. and Myrtle (Steva) Blaine. She married Cary M. Haynes of Richmond on February 3, 1945; he preceded her in death on January 12, 2011. Survivors include one nephew, Bob Blaine and his wife, Rita of Green Valley, AZ; one niece, Bette Sullivan and her husband, James of Vandalia, OH; one sister-in-law, Eleanor Lear and her husband, Jim of Overland Park, KS; and several great-nieces and nephews also survives. Frances worked in the accounting department for the Locke Stove Company in Kansas City for several years. She was a member of the Kirk Presbyterian Church in Kansas City. She had lived most of her life in the Kansas City area.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home. Burial will be held in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery in Richmond. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
