Tragically Leroy lived to be only 25yrs old. His passing was the result of an accidental gun shot while hunting with his brother Carl and some friends along the Toccoa River. He left behind a heart broken family, including his wife Jessie,son Robert(Bobby) two yrs old,two month old daughter Kathleen and step-son James 4 yrs old. Leroy was the youngest of eight children of Rev.Joseph and Rosetta Hunnicutt. He was a farmer by trade. Although I was not old enough to have known my father, I have always felt his presence with me throughout my life. Gone but never forgotten !
