Mrs. Bonnie Mae Hunnicutt Woody, age 65 of Blue Ridge, GA died Monday, January 16,1989 in North Georgia Medical Center. She was born July 31, 1923 in Franklin, NC, the daughter of Rev. Joseph Hunnicutt and the late Rosetta Free Hunnicutt. She was a member of the Blue Ridge Church of Christ and was married to the late Early Woody.
Survivors include four sons, Frank and Bobby Weeks both of Blue Ridge, Billy Weeks of Ellijay, Johnny Weeks of Suches, GA; one Daughter, Annie Ruth Piaia of Conyers, GA; two brothers, Cecil Hunnicutt of Dahlonega, GA, and Carl Hunnicutt of Dahlonega, GA; three sisters, Vinnie Moore of Seneca, SC, Eunice Woody of Dahlonega, GA, and Betty Grizzle of Alpharetta, GA; nine grandchildren, and on great grandchild
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 11 a.m . from the Blue Ridge Church of Christ. Ministers Butch Jones and David Macy officiated. Singing was by the Church choir.
Pallbearers were Glen Westbrook, Bobby Roper, William Weeks, Ed Weeks, Kim Norton, Troy Norton, Eric Norton and Dante Piaia.
Interment was in Concord Church cemetery under the direction of Bernhardt Funeral Home.
