Jeffrey Beck served in the Revolutionary war. His name was misspelled on his headstone.
His Ancestors were some of the first who came to this land called America. Jeffrey's Pension record states in 1833 State of South Carolina Pickens District he was age upwards of 81 years old was born in Augusta Co. Virginia. According to his Revolutionary war Records his death date was abt 1841.∼Jeffrey Beck II was originally buried close to the river on his plantation in the family cemetery, Mills Creek, GA. When a dam was built, the grave was moved to the Stamp Creek Church Cemetery, Oconee County, South Carolina. The original tombstone was taken to the dump and a new marker was placed on his grave. The old tombstone was found and rescued by one of his descendants.

Jeffrey is the second of four generations of Jeffreys. He was married to Mary McDaniel. They had 12 children: Jeffrey III, Rebecca Emmaline, Gideon Luwellen, Isaiah Springer, Miriam, Arah Ann, Solomon, William and Samuel Isaac.

1801, Feb. 17, 1801 Randolph County, North Carolina Deeds. From Amos McDaniel to his brother-in-law Jeffrey Beck. Establishes relationship of Mary to her father John McDaniel.

Deeds found in Randolph County, North Carolina Deed Books 1-8 mention her father and brothers as Listed on the family group with her as a child. Relationships were mentioned on the deeds and establishes her family being as follows: Father-John McDaniel who was still alive in 1800. Her brothers were mentioned as Samuel McDaniel, Isaac McDaniel, and Amos McDaniel. One of her sisters married a David Chaplain. They all lived on the waters of Brush Creek in Randolph County. Their Lands bordered each other and they traded Land back and forth. This was during the years of 1784-1801. Her father owned Lots of Land and bought at least one stave during this time.
