Conrad Buchele was born in Stuttgart, Neckakreis, Wuettemberg, Germany to Johannes Conrad Beuchle (b.1699, d.1763) and Catherine Elizabeth (b.1698, d.1763).

He immigrated on 22 Oct 1754 to Philadelphia, PA. Sailing from Stuttgart, Germany on the ship Halifax under the command of Captain Thomas Coatman which sailed from Rotterdam with 103 emigrants.

This Lutheran farmer, Conrad, was the first Beighley in America where he changed his name from Buchele to Beighley. Note than some historical documents call out his name as "Beuchle" and his grave marker spells his name "Bechle".

Conrad married Margaretta Elizabeth Wiles during 1764 in Hagerstown, Fredrick County, Maryland. They had 12 children they named: John, Susanna "Shushey", Henry, Jacob, Peter, Catherine, George, Daniel, William, Mary "Polly" M. and Elizabeth "Betsy" Beighley. About 1769 the farm family relocated from Hagerstown, Washington County, Maryland to Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.

His "Will" was dated 1824 and can be found in the Will index, Vol 2, page 120. It was signed in Greesburg, Westmoreland Co., PA. He died on 20 Dec 1824 in North Hempfield, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
