Mrs. Knauss
Graveside funeral rites were held Tuesday afternoon at the Mountain View cemetery near Centralia for Mrs. John (Mabel) Knauss, 66, who passed away suddenly at Vancouver, Wash. last Friday.
Mrs. Knauss was born at Waverly, Iowa, on Oct. 25, 1867, and was a former resident of Centralia and had taught in the city's high school. She had been a resident of Vancouver for the pat 15 years and was a member of the Washington chapter, Order of Eastern Star, Rebekah lodge and of the Christian church.
Surviving the deceased in addition to the husband, is a brother, W. T. Lashbrook, Centralia. Funeral services were in Vancouver Tuesday morning, with graveside rites following at Centralia."
