Mr. Carmine Carrabis, a long time resident of Everett, passed away on Friday, July 24th at the Widden Memorial Hospital following a long illness at the age of 72. Born in Italy, Mr. Carrabis was a United States Army Veteren, having served durning WWII; and had been employed as the Custodian at City Hall until his retirement. Mr. Carrabis was the husband of the late Evelyn (Piccione) Carrabis; and the father of Ella and Nicholas Giordano of Melrose and Joanne and kent Loveys of Derry, New Hampshire. He was the brother of Lisa Pirelli, Tillie Cogliano, and Theresa Carrabis all of Everett, and the late James of Las Vegas and Ricky Carrabis of East Boston. The funeral was held on Monday morning,July 27th at 10am from the Salvatore Rocco &Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St. , Everett followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony's Church at 11 am. Entombment was in the Holy Cross Mausoleum,Malden. Donations in Mr. Carrabis' name may be made to the Salvation Army, 146 Berkley Street, Boston,Massachusetts,02116
