James Carrabis, 54, of 5615 Leon Drive, Sun Valley died Tuesday in a local hospital. A native of Everett, Mass., he was born Aug. 9, 1917. He resided in Sun Valley for 11 years and worked as a bus driver. Mr. Carrabis was a veteren of World War II. Survivors include his wife Dolores of Sun Valley; daughters Sandra Coleman and Dolores Carrabis, Sun Valley and Phyllis Bushey, East Boston,Mass. Mr. Carrabis leaves his sons James D. Carrabis, stationed with the Marines in Costa Rica; Ronald and Robert Carrabis, Sun Valley; his father Pasquale Carrabis of Everett,Mass.; sisters Lisa Pirelle, Tillie Cogliano, and Teresa Carrabis all of Everett, and brothers Carmine Carrabis, Everett and Enrico Carrabis of East Boston. He also leaves 10 grandsons. The Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7 pm in Sierra Chaple, Walton Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday at 10 am with Requiem Mass celebrated in St. Thomas Aquinas Cathedral. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
