Amelia Mae Barra, 92, of Indianapolis, born on May 3, 1919 in Rosetown, Saskatchewan, Canada ,went to meet the Lord and her husband, of 64 years, Anton "Tony" Barra, on June 30, 2011.
She was a member of University Heights Baptist Church.
Amelia is survived by her four daughters, Anita Barra, Alana Barra, Adela Cooper, and Amelia Sowders; four grandchildren, Bryan Cooper, Anthony Cooper, Stacy Ison, and Gregory Sowders; 11 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 5 at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm om Wednesday, July 6 at the funeral home.
Ameilia will be laid to rest in Concordia Cemetery.
