Mrs. Alta Anderson Obituary
Funeral rites for Mrs. Alta Anderson, 74 wife of Lawrence Anderson of Rt. 3, will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Fisher Brothers Funeral Home, Lapel. The Rev. George Harris, a former pastor here, will be the minister in charge. Interment will be in the Grove Lawn Cemetery at Pendleton. ... Mrs. Anderson was stricken fatally while vacationing in Cocoa Beach FL. A native of the Lapel community, she was a member of the East Lynn Christian Church in Anderson, and was active in several auxiliary Masonic organizations in Madison County as well as several clubs in this area.

She is survived by her husband; a son, living Anderson of Noblesville; two daughters, Mrs. Earl Roudebush of Lapel and Mrs. Robert D. Anderson of Anderson; three sisters, Mrs. Sharley Hersberger of Lapel, Mrs Lauretta Ehman of Zionsville, and Mrs. Mary Dillinger of Tipton; three brothers, Raymond Stottlemyer of Noblesville, George Stottlemyer of San Antonio, Texas, and William Stottlemyer of New Harmony, Ohio; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Her parents were the late James and Ada Stottlemyer.
