Patricia Ann Pendleton Beasley, 75, of Bells Mill Road, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011. Born in Old Norfolk County, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Ruby Pendleton. Patsy was a 1954 graduate of Great Bridge High School, where she was an honor student and majorette. She later attended Richmond Professional Institute, where she studied art. A lover of the outdoors, she enjoyed growing flowers and creating her backyard bird sanctuary. Patsy was a natural born artist, and many who received her hand painted Christmas cards and various other works can attest to her talent. In addition to her art, she enjoyed bowling. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 56 years, William Frank "Sonney" Beasley, Jr.; two children, William F. "Bill" Beasley, III and wife Victoria and Sandra Ann "Sandy" Higgins and husband Billy; three grandchildren, Kelley Ann Higgins, Brian Thomas Higgins and Emilie Madigan Beasley. A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, June 15, 2011 in Rosewood Memorial Park. www.omanfh.com
