Albert D. Vonada, 83, of Aaronsburg, went home to join his heavenly father Mon., Jan. 27, 2003, at Centre Community Hospital. He was born Jan. 4, 1920, in Spring Mills, to Emanuel and Ella Jordan Vonada, who both preceded him in death. On Mar. 16, 1942, he married Betty H. Day Vonada, who survives at home. He was a dairy farmer for seven years, salesman for Young's of Roaring Spring selling vitamins and minerals. He also sold dairy cleaning supplies. He attended God's Missionary Church at Wolfe's Store and Spring Mills. He is survived by 2 daughters, one sister, Violet Boone, of Bellefonte, one brother, Paul E. Vonada, of Bellefonte, 5 grandchildren, 6 stepgrandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Russell and Randall. Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Wed. at Steven R. Neff Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Millheim. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thurs. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gabriel Morely officiating. Burial follows in Stover Cemetery, Aaronsburg.
