Mrs. Annie M. Smith, formerly of near Gettysburg, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Miller, Waynesboro, Sunday morning at 7:30 o'clock, aged 92 years, leaving one hundred and ten direct living descendants.
C. E. Pitzer, Chambersburg street, is a grandchild of Mrs. Smith, who was twice married, her first husband having been Jacob Mickley, of this county, who died 40 years ago.
Mrs. Smith is survived by seven daughters, all children of her first husband. They are Mrs. Jane Henry, Orrtanna; Mrs. David Pitzer, near Gettysburg; Mrs. George Shellman, Hampton; Mrs. Grant Funt, Orrtanna; Mrs. Clark Burffert, Monmouth, Illinois; Mrs. Fred Dollmyer, York, and Mrs. Miller, Waynesboro, with whom she resided. Mrs. Smith also is survived by 36 grandchildren and 67 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services at Waynesboro Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, conducted by the pastor of the Lutheran Church, of which the deceased was a consistent member. Interment at Flohr's Cemetery.
