War of 1812 Brigadier General, US Congressman. The son of General Henry Dearborn, he served during the War of 1812 as a Brigadier General of Volunteers in command of the defenses at Boston Harbor. He was elected to represent Massachusetts' 10th District in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1831 to 1833.
