Mary Grace Dahlberg was born January 26, 1885, in Minnesota. She was described once as "a very determined lady" who began a day-care business about 1955, which day-care business is reportedly still going and is owned by her grandson, James Earl Eiteman. Mary died May 4, 1957, at age 72, in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, in her own home at 3200 Bideker Street. The cause of death was not legible on her death certificate. She was originally buried in Rose Hill Park Cemetery, Fort Worth, which subsequently changed its name to Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park & Funeral Chapel (7301 East Lancaster, Fort Worth, Texas.) The cemetery reports that in February of 1963 her "child" (i.e., Robert Earl Eiteman) authorized the cemetery to disinter her and have Earthman's Funeral Home of Houston rebury her remains in Forest Park West Cemetery, Houston, where she was reburied on February 20, 1963, next to her husband, Earl Harry Eiteman
