Services for Frank Edwin Stockard, 69, Sulphur Springs Road, who died at home Thursday, June 11, are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Lewis Johnson, the Rev. Garie Taylor and the Rev. Joe Elliott will officiate.
He is survived by his wife, Clementyne Coleman Stockard; a daughter, Sarah Stockard Fox of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two brothers, John Gentry Stockard of Thonotosassa, Fla., Thomas William Stockard of Murfreesboro; a sister, Sara Mingle of Gallatin; and one grandson.
A member of Bethel United Methodist Church and a 1948 graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School, he was in the tire business in Middle Tennessee, Cleveland, Ohio, and Corpus Christi, Texas, for 34 years before he retired.
Memorials may be made to his church or to Hospice of Murfreesboro.
Visitation will be held after 10 a.m. Saturday until service time at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
