She was born May 20, 1927, in Washington, a daughter of Ben and Harriett Plott Hall.
She was a member of First Christian Church, West Alexander.
Mrs. Allen was a homemaker and a member of the Ladies Auxilliary of American Legion Post 656, West Alexander.
She enjoyed cooking, reading, working puzzles, watching television and movies, and spending time with her family.
On July 15, 1966, in Washington, she married Paul Allen, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Sandra (Mickey) Ardeno, of Ruff Creek, five sons, Jay Ringer, of Ruff Creek, John Douglas (Betty) Colvin, of Washington, Paul (Sherry) Allen, Jr., of Washington, Sonny (Annette) Brown, of San Antonio, TX, and Michael (Mindy) Allen, of West Alexander, a sister, Mary Shivers, of West Alexander, fourteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, Benjamin Hall, and a granddaughter, Tori Lynn Allen.
Friends will be received Tuesday and Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, in Michael H. Heinrich Funeral Home, 101 Main St, West Alexander, where services will be held Thursday, May 8, at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Bruce Graff officiating. Interment in West Alexander Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 7829 National Pike, Suite 2, Uniontown, PA 15401.
