Paul was a steelworker and retired from Jessop Steel. He also was in the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War.
He belonged to American Legion Post #639 in Claysville, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #929 in Washington and The Jessop Club, Washington. Paul was an avid coon hunter and enjoyed going to trade days for coon hunting.
He is survived by three sons, Paul (Sherry) Allen of Washington, Michael (Mindy) Allen of West Alexander and Sonny Brown of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren Traci Bryner of Washington, Joshua Allen of Washington, Jason (Lori) Allen of Washington, Matthew Allen of Avella, Chad (Victoria) Allen of Virginia, Dylan Allen of West Alexander, and Kristina (Derrick) Telander of San Antonio, Texas; along with 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah Jenny Allen; second wife Marie Hall Allen; an infant daughter; grandchild Tori Allen; and several brothers and sisters.
There will be a visitation for Paul from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 21, in Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 219 Main Street, Claysville PA 15323, (724) 833-7657, www.youngfhinc.com.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 22. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is asked that everyone must wear a facemask and/or covering.
