Sikeston- Thelma Faye Richardson, 81, died Aug. 28, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born May 27, 1921, in Blodgett, daughter of the late John Henry and Stella Ethel Salyers Thompson, she was a member of Murray Lane Baptist Church. She was an operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 35 years before retiring.


Survivors include: two sons, one stepson, one sister, and four grandchildren.


Visitation is from 10 a.m. Friday until service time at 2 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home. The Rev. Larry Davis, pastor of Trinity Gospel Church, will officiate.


Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery at Morley. Pallbearers will be: Gary Mize Jr., Keith Almond, Chris Elliott, Blake Collins, Mike Collins and Gaylon Krueger.
