He was preceded in death by his father and mother, grandparents John Henry and Stella Ethel Salyers Thompson and two brothers: Gary "Stomper" Mize Sr. and Jerry Allen Richardson.
Kevin was a good Christian man and loyal friend. He was a member of Murray Lane Baptist Church for many years. He most recently attended Canalou Baptist Church.
While attending Sikeston High School, Kevin was the football manager. He also attended the Sikeston Community Sheltered Workshop for many years. He loved to fish and was a gun and knife enthusiast.
A private service will be held at a later date.
