MRS. ALICE E. APPLEMAN
Of Bakers Summit, died at 6.10 a.m. today in Nason Hospital after an extended illness. She was born at Roaring Spring RD March 25, 1876, a daughter of David and Susan (Wilt) Ray, and was married to Edward E. Appleman, who died on March 4, 1956. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John H. Kearns of Newry; a son, Carl E. of Lakemont; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bakers Summit. Friends will be received at the Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, after 7 p.m. Saturday.

APPLEMAN -- Services for Mrs. Alice E. Appleman of Bakers Summit will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, by the Rev. Robert Huddle and the Rev. Donald Ruher. Interment in Holsinger Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Thompson Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Saturday.
