From the Fort Worth Sunday Record, Sunday, September 26, 1926, Society Section, p. 1:

Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Massey, 508 Hemphill Street, announce the marriage of their daughter, Flora, to Mr. C. B. Baird, son of Mrs. Ninnie Baird of Sycamore Heights, Tuesday at the College Avenue Baptist Church, with Rev. C. V. Edwards, pastor of the church, officiating.

Mr. and Mrs. Baird left immediately for Dallas and other points and on their return will be at home at 2601 Scott Avenue.


From the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Thursday, June 13, 1991, Sec. B, p. 5:

Flora Adele Baird, a homemaker, died Wednesday at her Fort Worth home. She was 83.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Robertson Mueller Harper-Eighth Avenue. Burail will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.

Mrs. Baird was born in Fort Worth and was a lifelong resident.

She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church.

Mrs. Baird was the wife of C. B. Baird, who died in 1969.

The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.

Survivors: Two sons, C. B. Baird Jr. and Byron Baird, both of Fort Worth; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
