James P. Ahern, better known in the Harlowton and Lewistown country died at the Grand Hotel Saturday morning.
Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church Monday afternoon by Rev A.A Holbeck, music being furnished by Mrs. Signa Bailey and Mrs. Margaret Busha. Pallbearers were William Muir, Gib and George McFarland, Frank Williams, John P. Campbell, Jesse Pogreba. Interment was in Mountain View.
Deceased was born at Livingston and spent his ealry life around Melville and Twodot, but for the last ten years had resided in Lewstown and Harlowton. He leaves a wife, Ida Ahernm of Big Timber; a mother, Mr. Annie Carr of Ringling, two brothers, T.E. Ahern of Butte and and John Ahern of Ringling; two sisters, Mrs. Clara LaFever of Portland, Oregon ... (the remaining is not legible.)
