T. Josh Hagan Dies in Auto Wreck in Ala.

Funeral Services for Mr. T. Josh Hagan, 84, were held at the Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church on Tuesday afternoon, March 14, conducted by Elder T. Roe Scott and the Rev. J. Robert Smith. Burial was in East Side Cemetery.

Mr. Hagan was injured fatally Sunday, March 12, when the car in which he was riding plunged off U.S. 80 about seven miles east of Tuskegee, Alabama. He was enroute to Hot Springs, Arkansas, with Mr. Frank Parker and Mr. Clate Mikell when the accident occurred.

Mr. Hagan lived at 9 Broad Street here in Statesboro. He was a retired stock dealer and was one of Statesboro's pioneer citizens. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Hagan; one son, Edgar Hagan; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all of Statesboro.

Barnes Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
