Mrs. Petersen was born November 18, 1882 at Elk City, Nebraska in Douglas county. She spent her life as a farm wife, moving to Blair to retire a number of years ago. She has been a resident of the Good Shepherd Home for several years.
Mrs. Petersen is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Nelsine McAllister, of Sonora, California and by Mrs. Elsie Swartz of Hillsboro, Oregon.
Two brothers also survive. They are Jasper Jespersen and Otto Jespersen, both of Alliance, Nebraska. Sisters are Mrs. Lena Jensen of Quimby, Iowa and Mrs. Dorothea Hansen of Litchfield, Minn.
