Dau. of Christian and Emma B. LeDuc Vercler, she married Henry Wm. Koerner on Dec. 17, 1907 near Chenoa, IL. They had two children:

Merle Koerner 1910-2002
m1939 Louise Bressner 1914-2005

Ruth Koerner 1918-
m1939 James McCabe 1915-1998

Mrs. Alice M. Koerner, 85, of Pontiac, died Sunday at noon at Evenglow Lodge, where she had been a resident for five years.

Her funeral will e Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., at the First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Glenn Ioder and the Rev. Daivd Bultemeier officiating. Burial will be in Chenoa Cemetery

Mrs. Koerner was born Aug. 1 1887 in Pike Township, a daughter ot Christian and Emma (LeDuc) Vercler. She attended rural schools and Pontiac High School. She married Henry W. Koerner on Dec 17 1907 at Chenoa. He died in 1957.

Surviving are a son, Merle of Pontiac; a daughter Mrs. James J. (Ruth) McCabe, of Pontiac; a sister Miss Nettie Vercler, of Meadows; three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

Mrs. Koerner was a member of the First United Methodist Chruch, the Trumbo Class of the church, the Women's Society of Christian Service in Pontiac and Rooks Creek, and was a charter member of the Pontiac unit of the Livingston County Homemakers Association.

FUNERAL HELD
The funeral for Mrs. Alcie M. Koerner, 85, of Pontiac, was held Wednesday at 10:30 am. at the First United Methodist Chruch. The Rev. Glenn Ioder and the Rev. Daivd Bultemeier officiated. Mrs. Leona DeMoss was organist.

Burial was in Chenoa Cemetery.

Pallbearers were William Duffy, Oscar Koltveit, Francis Bressner, Richard Winters, Floyd Rittenhouse and Myron Heins.

Mrs. Koerner died Sunday at Evenglow Lodge.
