They moved to Texas in 1952. She was a homemaker and farmed with her husband. Mrs. Bailes was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church.
Mrs. Bailes is survived by daughters, Betty Batek and husband, Johnny of Breckenridge, Jewel Harding and husband, Dean of Albany, and Geneva Mull and husband, George of Midland, son, Curtis Bailes of Austin, sister, Audrey May Peavey of Windfield [sic Winnfield], Louisiana, brothers, Jonie Patton of Jonesboro, Louisiana and John Patton of Olla, Louisiana, 17 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
