She had met Clyde E. Kidd, through friends during her senior year in high school. After she graduated high school, she and Mr. Kidd, who was stationed at Ft. Belvoir at the time, went to Maryland and got married. After they married they moved to Hutchinson, Kansas.
They were the parents of 3 children. The first two being a boy and a girl, and a few years later, they had another, son.
She has had various types of jobs during her lifetime, she has been a nurse's aide, a baker, a telephone operator for a cab company, a pants presser at dry cleaners, and a few other odd ball things, and the last position she held was a dispatcher for the fire department.
During the summer months, for awhile everyone would pack-up the car and go on long vacations back east to see her parents and other relatives. It was a truly an amazing time for all.
Sadly, she passed away 27 March 1988 in Hutchinson, Reno, Kansas. She is survived by her husband, children, realtives, and tons of friends.
