Alice Kechter, 86 died Sunday Sept. 10, at Weld County General Hospital. She was born Nov. 28, 1891 at Klub, Russia to Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Reuber. On April 28, 1912 she married Jacob Kechter at Klub. They immigrated to Hasting Nebraska in 1913, later ranching at Shawnee, Wyoming until moving to Fort Morgan where they farmed. In 1950 they came to Greeley, and her husband worked for the University of Northern Colorado until retiring in 1959.
She was a member of the Paul's Congregational Church and the churches Ladies Aids Society.
Survivors are her two daughters, Mrs. Roy (Helen) Boehm of Greeley, and Mrs. James (Stella) Carson of Denver, and son Raymond of Cheyenne, Wyoming, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Adamson memorial Chapel in Greeley with interment in Linn grove Cemetery .
