Mrs. Auer, wife of the late Jerome G. Auer, was born in Lizella the daughter of the late Thomas R. and Martha Walker Roberts. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas J. Auer and by her sisters, Annie Mae Meeks, Dora Moseley, Myrtle Lewis and Veta Cleveland. Mrs. Auer was a member of Vineville Baptist Church where she was also a member of the Fidelis-Mizpah Sunday School Class. She was a member of the North Macon Senior Citizens Group and was an avid antique collector and gardener. Mrs. Auer had lived most of her adult life in Pittsburgh, PA and returned to Macon in 1983 after their retirement. She had moved to Magnolia Manor in November 2009.
Survivors include her son, Tim (Dyanne) Auer of Santa Fe, New Mexico; her sister, Lois Renfroe of Marietta; niece, JoAnn Otto of Macon, and several other nieces and nephews.
