Surviving are his wife, formerly Mabel McKitrick; one son, Frederick, Jr., of Mexico City, and one brother, Alan Matson, of La Jalla, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning at the home.

Rites Wednesday for F.E. Matson
Funeral services for Frederick E. Matson, 1321 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis attorney who died Saturday at Methodist Hospital, will be at Flanner & Buchanan mortuary at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning. Dr. Jean S. Milner, pastor of the Second Presbyterian Church, will officiate. The body will be cremated.
Honored associates will be members of the law firm of which Mr. Matson was the senior partner. They are James A. Ross, Robert D. McCord, Harry T. Ice, Merle H. Miller, Adolph Schreiber, James V. Donadio, Stanley Lawton and Louis McClennen.
