Chesterton Chips.The remains of Mrs. Lincoln Felker were brought here for burial Tuesday forenoon from Whiting. Funeral services were held at Whiting at the family residence at 7 o'clock Monday evening, and regular services were held in the Chesterton M. E. church at 10 o'clock. The remains were laid to rest in the Chesterton cemetery. Mrs. Felker departed this life on Saturday, October 15, in the M.M. Thompson Sanitarium, 805 Monroe street, Chicago, after being there for treatment since October 11. She was taken to the hospital to have an operation performed and did not survive the shock. She has been an invalid since last August, when she lost her baby. Mrs. Felker was the daughter of Philip Dillinger of this place, and was aged 27 years, 20 months and 26 days at the time of her death. She leaves a husband and one child to mourn her loss. Twenty relatives and friends from Whiting came out here to attend the funeral. The pallbearers were members of the I.B. of S.F. Union and of the United Order of Foresters. The honorary lady pallbearers were members of the foresters lodge. She carried an insurance policy in the order of Foresters for $1,000, payable to her husband. Mr. Felker has decided to keep the home together, and will have his stepmother and his sister-in-law, keep house for him. He will retain his home in Whiting.
