Mrs. Anderson was born September 16, 1899 in Pennsylvania, the daughter of John and Lottie (George) McMillen. She was married to Harry E. Anderson, who preceded her in death August 2, 1979.
A resident of California since 1957, Mrs. Anderson was a former member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church in Frostburg.
Surviving relatives include one son, the Rev. H. Warren Anderson of Arcadia, Calif; one daughter, Mrs. Mable Alice Steenburgen of Hamilton, Ohio; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and one brother, Glenn McMillen of Punxsutawney.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hopewell United Methodist Church in Frostburg. Interment will be in the Hopewell Cemetery, Frostburg.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Deeley Funeral Home of Punxsutawney.
