Martha might have signed Eula Cooke's autograph book on 12 Sept. 1882 as "Cousin Mat".

I found a death certificate for Mrs N J Eanes b. 12/9/1844 d. 8/25/1925 in Anson, Jones, Texas. She was buried in Mt Hope Cemetery (location unknown). I don't think she is in Albin Cemetery, Comanche County.

Martha "Mattie" John Shapard was the daughter of Thomas Paine Shapard and Ann (Hope) Shapard. She married Thomas William Eanes 12 May 1886 in Thorp Springs, Hood Co., Texas. William and "Mattie" Eanes had one daughter, Annie Hope Eanes born 10 Sep 1887.
