MRS. EMMA ALBERT, OWNED FEED MILL IN LAFONA, PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP

Mrs. Emma R. Albert, 79, of Lafona, Plainfield Township R.D.1 died yesterday in Muhlenburg Medical Center. Where she was admitted March 12.

She and her husband, Clarence E. Albert, owned and operated the Lafona Feed Mills, in Plainfield Township, untill they retired in 1971. The mill was formerly owned by her parents, the late Edwin and Sabina ( Bender ) Heaney.

Born in Plainfield Township on Dec. 4, 1898, she was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Plainfield Township, and the Lutheran Church Women. She taught Sunday School for many years and was pianist of the Sunday School primary department.

She was a member of the ladies Auxiliary of Rebecca No. 202, Aluta Lodge, and the Muhlenburg Medical Center Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Plainfield Township Farmers Association and the Wind Gap Senior Citizens.

Surviving in addition to her husband are four daughters, Mrs Robert Huff, Easton; Mrs Charles Muller, Phillipsburg R.D.3; Mrs. George Weidman, Ackermanville, and Mrs, Robert Ehly, Plainfield Township; seven Grandchildren and four Great-Grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 am. Wednesday in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Plainfield Township. Interment will be in Plainfield Church Cemerery. The Altemose Funeral Home Inc. Wind gap, is in charge of arrangements
