Lenna L. Strable, age 86, died at St. Vincent's Hospital, November 29, 2010. She was born in Bellevue, Ohio, March 17, 1924 to William and Lenna Klein. She had a Masters degree in Elementary Education and retired from teaching after 25 years. She retired from Mason Consolidated Schools, Erie, Michigan. Lenna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edgar W. Strable; sister, Twila (Arthur) Needles.
She is survived by her children, Jean (Thomas) Taylor, Jane Buck, Edward Strable, Joan (Gerald) Martinez and William (Beverly) Strable; 9 loving grandchildren; 2 precious great-grandchildren; brother, Gershen (Barbara) Klein.
Visitation for Lenna will be at H.H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd (at Alexis) 419-473-1301 on Friday, December 3, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will begin Saturday, December 4, at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
