She was the daughter of the late Matt and Laura Ellen Brunson Underwood, a native of Yell County and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Bill Cossey, Dardanelle, and William Cossey, McKinleyville, Calif; five daughters, Mrs Ruby Gray, Dardanella, Mrs Allie Mae Waid, Delano, Calif, Mrs Modean Claypool, Little Rock, Mrs Mary Foshee, Norman, Okla, and Mrs Gertie Burt, Alaska; two brothers, Lonnie Underwood, Danville and Arthur Underwood, Pasadena, Calif; a sister, Mrs Oma Abney, Dardanelle; 26 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren.
Services were at 2pm Tuesday at the Church of Christ, burial was in the Dacus Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Service.
