Noreen A. Real, 66, of 32138 County Rt. 18, Theresa, passed November 9, 2010 at her home.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Mon., Nov. 15th at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sun., Nov. 14th at the funeral home.

Born May 2, 1944 in Tarentum, PA, daughter of Daniel and Audrey Ross Ankrom, she graduated from Freeport High School and New Kensington Commercial School, in PA. She married Patrick Real on June 6, 1969 at Cabot, PA with Rev Edgar Shano officiating. The couple moved to NY and purchased a dairy farm on the Dutch Settlement Road on May 1, 1987. She and her husband owned and operated the farm up until May 15, 2007.

Mrs. Real was an avid gardener, volunteer, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a girl scout leader, a member of the Allied Farmers Co-Op, Evans Mills Ambulance Squad Aux., and St. Mary's Catholic Church Booster Club.

Among her survivors are a son, Thomas Real, Theresa; four daughters and three son law, Trinise and Thomas Giles, Erie, PA, Tricia and Jason Broadus, Charleston, SC, Tristin and Robert Eckert, North Branch, MI, Tialisa Real and her companion, Michael Amell, Dexter; 12 grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers in law, Arlene Ankrom, Sarver, PA, Marjorie and James Lambert, Spencer, OK, Louave and Hugh Foster, North Collins, NY; two brothers and a sister in law, Timothy Ankrom, Sarver, PA, Donald and Cheryl Ankrom, Butler, PA; several nieces and nephews.
