Rebecca married Andrew Keck (1785-1859) in c1808 in presumably Pennsylvania, probably Mifflin County. Rebecca and Andrew were the parents of ten known children, namely:
1. Barbara Keck (???-???)
2. George Keck (1811-1899)
3. Elizabeth Keck Coder (1813-1838)
4. Asenath Keck (???-???)
5. Mary Keck Coder (1817-p1892)
6. Joseph Keck (1819-1901)
7. Andrew W. Keck (1822-1909)
8. Jonas Keck (1824-1897)
9. Rebecca Keck Smith (1827-1890)
10. Jacob R. Keck (c1830-1865)
The dates listed for the parents were taken from their tombstones. Other records show Rebecca to be born 19 Jun 1786. Which is correct? In 1830 the family (parents, two males 0 to 5 (Jacob and Jonas); one male 5 to 10 (Andrew) and one male 10 to 15 (Joseph); one female 0 to 5 (Rebecca), two females 10 to 15 (Elizabeth and Mary) were living at Salisbury Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Further down the page was Samuel Coder, who later married the daughter Elizabeth Keck. Did Asenath die young or was she married prior to 1830? In 1840 the parents, Jacob, Jonas, Andrew and Rebecca were living at Marion Township, Marion County, Ohio. In 1850 the parents and children: Andrew, Rebecca and Jacob were living at District #130, White County, Indiana with Andrew listed as a farmer. I need to find the family on the 1860 census.
Links to Rebecca's parents, husband, five of her ten known children and all of her nine known siblings are included below.
