PIKEVILLE, TN - Patricia Ann Angel, 43, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2010.
Ms. Pat as she was more affectionately known as was a special educator instructor at Bledsoe County middle school. She was a tireless advocate for the kids that she taught. Even though she had no children of her own she often said that all of her students were her children. Ms. Pat also helped with cheerleading, girls softball, and the Special Olympics. She was employed with the Bledsoe County school system for 18 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Sue Corn.
Ms. Pat is survived and will be sorely missed by her husband, Tim Angel; brother, Kenneth Corn of Oklahoma; sisters, Jean Carlton, Crawford, TN, and Sandy Runnestrand, Katy, TX; several nieces and nephews, all of her Bledsoe County School Staff and Faculty members, and most importantly all of her kids.
A Celebration of Ms. Pat's Life will be held in the chapel of Pikeville Funeral Home on Saturday, October 2, 2010, at 10 a.m.
The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2010.
Burial will be in Iron Hill Cemetery.
