Died Thursday, May 5, 1994, at 8:15 p.m. at Medical Center of Baton Rouge. He was 81, a resident of Baton Rouge, former resident of Houston, Texas, and a native of Muskogee, Okla. He was a retired employee of Brown & Bigelow, St. Paul, Minn., with 60 years service. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Memorial services at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., at 11 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Gilbert Howell. Survived by a daughter, Nancy Sue Gooldy Grubbs, Baton Rouge; two grandchildren, Kimberly Grubbs Brumfield, Baton Rouge, and Michael P. Gooldy, Houston; and two great-grandchildren, J.P. and Melissa Brumfield. Preceded in death by wife, Charlotte V. Gooldy.
