Walter F. Moreno, met death in March, 1945, while serving with the Army in Germany. He was with the 406th Infantry as a private first class. Moreno went into the service in March, 1943.

He was the son of Walter and Juanita (Fierro) Moreno and the brother of Gloria (Moreno) Abundiz and Erma (Moreno) Garcia.

Note - Walter was returned to the U.S. for final burial in April, 1949.
