Luella Lockhart
Miss Luella May Lockhart, 37, formerly of 1412 Dorothy St., died Friday at 8:15 p.m. at the home of her sister, Mrs. Floyd (Opal) Claus of 622 Woodland St., Salem, following a lengthy illness.
Miss Lockhart was born Aug. 4, 1938, in Woodsville, Ohio, a daughter of Franklin Lockhart of Salem and the late Stella Sams Lockhart. She moved to Salem last November.
Besides her father and Mrs. Claus, she is survived by three other sisters, Mrs. Lura Jean Logston of Chester, Mrs. Lenora E. Sosa of San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. Hazel L. Smith of Salem; five brothers, William. F. Lockhart of Calcutta, Lloyd A. Lockhart of Kensington, Ohio, Charles E. Lockhart, Herbert W. Lockhart and Robert Lockhart, all of East Liverpool.
Services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Stark Memorial in Salem, with the Rev. Jack O. Austin of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
