CHESAPEAKE - Bonnie Bondurant Kingery, 61, of Country Club Blvd., went to be with the Lord Friday, July 23, 2010 after a courageous battle with leukemia. Born in Norfolk, she was the daughter of Louis Faye [Lois Faye Grimes] Bondurant and the late Maury Nelson Bondurant Sr. Bonnie was a devoted, passionate educator for the Chesapeake Public Schools for more than 32 years. Her care and love touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with. Bonnie attended Great Bridge Presbyterian Church. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 27 years, Barry Kingery; two sons, Matthew Browning and wife Courtney and Kevin Kingery; a granddaughter, Caroline Browning and one on the way, Bonnie Grace Browning; two brothers, Maury N. Bondurant Jr. and wife Brenda and M. Keith Bondurant and wife Jakki; a nephew, Aaron Bondurant; and two nieces, Betsy Bondurant and Alexandria Bondurant. Funeral will be conducted Wednesday, July 28, at Great Bridge Presbyterian Church. Dr. Ralph Herbert will officiate. The interment will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens.
