Grama Nan leaves behind to mourn her, a son, Rodney Lavern Steiner, and wife Shirley of Bonner Springs, KS, a sister, Grace Emily (Campbell) Chase of Kansas City, MO, two half sisters, Mildred Rebecca "Midge" (Campbell) Jensen of Nashville, TN and Ella Marie (Campbell) Bearsheart of Mobridge, SD, one brother, Ellis Raymond "Bud" Campbell of Marshalltown, Iowa, also seven grandchildren, Kurt James Steiner, Nancy Steiner, Patti Steiner Fultz, Cheri Steiner, Carla Sue Steiner & Rodney Campbell Steiner, all of Kansas City area, several great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter "Babe" Peterson, and a sister, Ethel May (Campbell) Graham.
She was a member of the Santee Sioux Tribe of Nebraska, having been born and raised on the reservation.
