She became a member of St Pauls's Episcopal Church of Federal Point and was active as organist, teacher, youth leader, mission board member, treasurer. She was elected as President of the Episcopal Church Women -- Diocese of Florida,1956-59. She became known as the Matriarch of St. Paul's.
After the death of her husband, she then moved to be with her mother at 567 Federal Point Road.
Surviving are nieces and nephews, Annette Fant Bidwell, Bruce J. Drackett and Joanne D. Chapman, all of Bradenton, Joe J. Fant Jr. of Tampa, Gary F. Drackett of Tallahassee, Mark D. Drackett of Alabaster, Ala., and Philip W. Drackett of St. Augustine.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Pauls's Episcopal Church, 124 Commercial Ave., Federal Point. Burial following services at Evergreen Cemetery, St. Augustine. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Craig Funeral Home Chapel.
